Personal story #12: at the farm

“No animal shall wear clothes.
No animal shall sleep in a bed.
No animal shall drink alcohol.
No animal shall kill any other animal.
All animals are equal.”

— George Orwell

My friend Vaughn and I went to a farm the other day, to show our sons Matthis and Sonny some animals. Needless to say that they had so much fun together looking at chickens, saying hello to a goat or two and staring at an ostrich (“What is THAT?”). It’s so much fun to see them grow together. Long story short: Sonny and Matthis are born three days apart. They are basically best mates already, and we wouldn’t be surprised that they will be up to no good together for the next, say, twenty years. But before they come back home tipsy, carrying each other and pretending that nothing happened, we are enjoying every minute, supporting each other into this motherhood thing by having fun (and coffee). So here are the photos of their first time seeing farm animals!
